What it means
AI impressions count how many times your brand name, product name, or store URL appears inside AI-generated responses across platforms and queries. They are the AI equivalent of search impressions in Google Search Console. High impression counts with low click-through rate indicate visibility without compellingness — the AI mentions you, but doesn't recommend you strongly enough to drive clicks. Impressions are a leading indicator; revenue is the lagging indicator.
